The 15″ American Racing wheels feature red accent stripes and are mounted with 215/65 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The SS was factory equipped with F41 sport suspension with heavy-duty springs and larger front and rear anti-roll bars, and stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes. The interior is trimmed in Maroon cloth and features bolstered front bucket seats and a rear bench as well as color-coordinated door panels. Amenities include a center console, a locking glovebox, an Alpine head unit, power windows and locks, SS Monte Carlo-branded floor mats, and air conditioning. Holes are visible in the front seat bottom upholstery. The steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, battery voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure.
