Work included rebuilding the 390ci V8 and installing a Tremec TKX five-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, MSD fuel injection, a CPP mini subframe kit, tubular control arms, a rear-end lowering kit, power-assisted brakes, rack-and-pinion steering, frame connectors, Dakota Digital instrumentation, and an Alpine stereo. The car is also equipped with front discs, dual exhaust, a black vinyl roof, a hood scoop, and front bucket seats. The car is refinished in red and features a black vinyl roof, a hood scoop, chrome bumpers, body-colored mirrors, and a dual outlet exhaust that exits through cutouts in the rear valance. American Racing 17â³ wheels are mounted with 245/45 front and 285/40 rear Continental ExtremeContact tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. Interior appointments include an Alpine stereo, air conditioning, a 10â³ chrome shift lever, and a center console with storage and cupholders. The 390ci V8 is equipped with MSD fuel injection and a Holley injection pump. Additional work included machining the crankshaft, boring and honing the block, and machining the cylinder head surface. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a Seamless DOM driveshaft assembly, a Tremec TKX five-speed manual transmission, and a 9â³ rear end with a limited-slip differential.
