This 1964. Subsequent work involved painting the car red, installing Wilwood front disc brakes and a dual exhaust system, and replacing the radiator and the black vinyl upholstery. It is powered by a replacement 289ci V8 that was installed circa 2000, and shifting is through a three-speed automatic transmission. The car also has an Edelbrock carburetor, PerTronix ignition, 14â³ wire-spoke wheels, chrome bumpers, front bucket seats, and an AM radio. The windshield is pitted, the weatherstripping is cracked, and the door handles finish is worn. Steel 14â³ wheels wear wire-style covers and are mounted with 195/75 Hankook Optimo tires. An AM radio and a cabin heater are also fitted. Noted flaws include mismatched door handles and paint chips on the Parchment-painted metal surfaces. The three-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and fronts a 120-mph speedometer flanked by fuel-level and water-temperature gauges. It is equipped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Pertronix ignition, and a Monte Carlo bar that spans the engine bay.
