Power is from a 255 flathead V8 equipped with Offenhauser cylinder heads and dual Stromberg carburetors. The engine is backed by a three-speed automatic transmission and a Ford 9″ rear end, and additional equipment includes a dropped front axle, transverse leaf springs, lever-action shocks, 16″ wire wheels, a power-operated trunk lid, and a convertible top. The cabin is trimmed in two-tone vinyl upholstery and integrates a banjo steering wheel, floor shifter, lap seatbelts, and Classic Instruments gauges. The steel roadster body was sourced from Steve’s Auto Restorations and rides on a color-matched chassis, also from Steve’s. The convertible top is equipped with a Haartz canvas cover, and additional features include reverse-hinged doors with bear claw latches, blue-dot taillights, and a power-operated trunk lid with white pinstriping. Reproduction 16″ Ford wire wheels are finished in cream and wear hubcaps and “big-and-little” Firestone Deluxe Champion pie-crust tires. The front suspension incorporates a dropped axle with a Posies reverse eye transverse leaf spring and lever-action shocks, and the rear axle also features a transverse leaf spring in addition to radius rods with upper links. Braking is from four-wheel drums. The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in blue vinyl with white pleated inserts. Door and side panels are trimmed to match, as is the trunk compartment.
