Powered by a 400ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission, the car was repainted in blue in 2023. Equipment includes exhaust headers and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan as well as blue vinyl upholstery, front bucket seats, a Hurst shifter, a center console, an AM radio, power steering, power-assisted brakes, Super Sport–style 14″ wheels, and dual exhaust. Work performed in recent years reportedly involved replacement of the radiator, engine mounts, clutch, and tires. Oldsmobile introduced the performance-oriented 442 package on its F-85 family of models—including the Cutlass—for 1964, building approximately 3,000 cars with the treatment for the inaugural year, and 442 production swelled to about 25,000 units for 1965. Features include quad headlights, reverse lights, chrome bumpers, bright trim, 442 badging, and a driver-side mirror. Super Stock II–style 14″ wheels are mounted with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires measuring 225/70. The car is equipped with power steering and front and rear anti-roll bars, and braking is provided by power-assisted drums at all four corners. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench that are upholstered in blue vinyl and are accented by coordinating door panels. Appointments include a Hurst shifter, front vent windows, patterned-metal dash trim, a center console, an AM radio, and a heater. One of the interior courtesy lights is missing a lens.
